Bear Grylls turns a dead seal into a wet suit
Bear is awesome. I wonder how viable this technique is, couldn't find much about it on the Googles.

Very Long Truck
I never knew such long road trains operated. This one is much larger than anything allowed in Australia. It seems to be in Brazil, but wiki doesn't give any mention on road trains in Brazil.

40 stacks of books from Earth to Neptune
"Three years ago, the world's 27 million business servers processed 9.57 zettabytes, or 9,570,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes of information.
Researchers at the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies and the San Diego Supercomputer Center at the University of California, San Diego, estimate that the total is equivalent to a 5.6-billion-mile-high stack of books stretching from Earth to Neptune and back to Earth, repeated about 20 times.
By 2024, business servers worldwide will annually process the digital equivalent of a stack of books extending more than 4.37 light-years to Alpha Centauri, according to a report compiled by the scientists.
(...)
As large as the numbers may seem, the three scientists who worked on the report stated that their server workload figures may be low because server industry sales figures don't fully account for the millions of servers built in-house by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and other companies using individual component parts ." - read more...

The first real zombie proof house
The architect said about this project:
“The most essential item for our clients was acquiring the feeling of maximum security.”
Er, mission achieved by the looks of it. This concrete cuboid folds in upon itself to become completely sealed, with concrete slabs covering windows when they’re not in use. There’s also movable walls, a concrete perimeter fence, and just one entrance – via a drawbridge on the second floor.
Quite good looks as well

Euthanasia Coaster
" “Euthanasia Coaster” is a hypothetic euthanasia machine in the form of a roller coaster, engineered to humanely – with elegance and euphoria – take the life of a human being. Riding the coaster’s track, the rider is subjected to a series of intensive motion elements that induce various unique experiences: from euphoria to thrill, and from tunnel vision to loss of consciousness, and, eventually, death. Thanks to the marriage of the advanced cross-disciplinary research in space medicine, mechanical engineering, material technologies and, of course, gravity, the fatal journey is made pleasing, elegant and meaningful. Where can this thing operate legally? Texas was a big surprise to me.
Map of the legality of euthanasia.
