It is a little bit a popularity contest like hyves (how many friends do you have?), but it's a fun feature.
I met some people who visit Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chili, Bolovia and Argentina in the same time I was in Ecuador. That means many long bus rides and seeing only the main tourist attractions. They just wanted to have many countries on their list, like Chinese/Japanese people.
my parameter was that I spend a couple of days there to visit the country, so no passing trough. Otherwise Luxembourg and Monaco and such could have been added.
yeah there is a line between seeing the main tourist attractions of a country and being to a country in a way that you see and experience their real culture.
You've been around.
ReplyDeletebtw, I've edited your post and reduced the width because it was too wide and fucked up the blog.
