Twisting Skyscrapers

Article here, designer website here. The article says that people can control the motion of their own apartment, I hope not, because then it would just become an ugly jumble, like the right part of the picture, instead of these beautiful shapes in the video.

    Sunday could be manual control day. I hope they don't move as fast as in the video because that is close to 1g (horizontal). Which means water in an aquarium will make a 45 degree angle with the horizon :) Enjoy the ride!

    That sped up animation was just done to see the evolving towers better. I wonder what it would look like in real speed though.
