I still hate it that Blogger doesn't allow us to have custom image sizes. Maybe we should use a good reliable external host?

yeah, you can use the following resolutions: s72,s144,s200,s320,s400,s512,s576,s640,s720,s800, s912,s1024,s1152,s1280,s1440,s1600
and adding ?imgmax=0 to the url links to the fullsize image (remove the /s1600-h part in the url), but this opens the download dialog with blogger images, not with normal picasa albums.
