In connection with the 5th Safer Internet Day1 on 12 February 2008, Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, presents a selection of statistics concerning internet activities, security concerns and virus attacks. The Safer Internet Day is part of a global drive to promote a safer Internet for all users, in particular younger people, and is organised by Insafe, a European internet safety network co-funded by the European Commission.

The Netherlands is doing pretty good in these stats.

I haven't read the article yet, but I wonder; how many of the people who claimed to have had a computer virus actualy had one?
If I look at people at my school (also previous schools) many claimed to have had a fatal computer crash, yet I have never had one (fatal that is, have been hacked once though).
Maybe alot of people have used the claim to excuse for lacking in finishing their work/homework, or simply didn't understand what the computer was doing and thought it must have been a virus.
Go round to a computer n00b and run a virus scan. I've scanned a few viruses at other people's places. Douche even installed a virus at his workplace.
believe me it aint hard to get a virus if you go the site si go.
The sites i go is like going to a swinger party in africa without a condom.
