ExpendableAsset came by with his camera to record the effects of color cycling RGB lights on the mushroom artwork in Cyberbeast's attic.

The Mandelbulb: first 'true' 3D image of famous fractal
NewScientist It may look like a piece of virtuoso knitting, but the makers of an image they call the Mandelbulb (see right) claim it is most accurate three-dimensional representation to date of the most famous fractal equation: the Mandelbrot set. There have been previous attempts at a 3D Mandelbrot image, but they do not display real fractal behaviour, says Daniel White, an amateur fractal image maker based in Bedford, UK. Spinning the 2D Mandelbrot fractal like wood on a lathe, raising and lowering certain points, or invoking higher-dimensional mathematics can all produce apparently three-dimensional Mandelbrots. Yet none of these techniques offer the detail and self-similar shapes that White believes represent a true 3D fractal image. Two years ago, he decided to find a "true" 3D version of the Mandelbrot.

Vector Park
Vector park is the site of a great flash designer who has made some very creative, bizarre, trippy and fun flash things. Like Feed the Head, which you could call a game because you can finish it, but it's more like a toy.
Also be sure to check out Windowsill, which sadly, you can only play halfway without paying.

Extreme fractal zoom
Zooming into the Mandelbrot Fractal (wiki link).
The final magnification is e.214. Want some perspective? a magnification of e.12 would increase the size of a particle to the same as the earths orbit! e.21 would make a particle look the same size as the milky way and e.42 would be equal to the universe. This zoom smashes all of them all away. If you were "actually" traveling into the fractal your speed would be faster than the speed of light. You might like to know that this animation took me about two days to set up. My computer then rendered day and night non-stop for just over a month to produce the animation. More

Busby Berkeley - Footlight Parade (mashup)
This video is a mashup of the music Sirens' Whispering by Vangelis with a piece of the classical musical Footlight Parade, with showgirls by Busby Berkeley. The original was in black and white and with different music. Around the half-way point the clip gets quite spectacular and somewhat trippy.
@wiki Berkeley was famous for his elaborate musical production numbers that often involved complex geometric patterns. Berkeley's quintessential works used legions of showgirls and props as fantastic elements in kaleidoscopic on-screen performances. He started as a theatrical director, just as many other movie directors. Unlike many at the time, he felt that a camera should be allowed mobility, and he framed shots carefully from unusual angles to allow movie audiences to see things from perspectives that the theatrical stage never could provide. This is why he played an enormous role in establishing the movie musical as a category in its own right. On YouTube you can find more clips.

Baraka, Tribal Chant
A great scene from the movie Baraka which according to Mr Wiggles looks somewhat like his Salvia visuals.
