A Rational Environmentalist!

From TED: Stewart Brand proclaims 4 environmental 'heresies' The man who helped usher in the environmental movement in the 1960s and '70s has been rethinking his positions on cities, nuclear power, genetic modification and geo-engineering.

Can we still call him an environmentalist when he supports genetic engineering and nuclear power? :)

Of course you can be an environmentalist. Just means you care highly about the environment.

I'd say there's less reason to call Greenpeace environmentalists because many of their policies work against the environment.

Sure, I was sarcastic. Greenpeace folks ruined the definition of environmentalist.
