Operation Homecoming: Writing the wartime experience

"Part of the America at a Crossroads documentary series aired on PBS earlier this year, Operation Homecoming is a unique approach at representing the war. Taking writings from soldiers deployed in Iraq, the producers of Operation Homecoming created a series of visual vignettes, attempting to create a wide variety of visual approaches to the writings and the subject matter. The visual styles range from animation, cinema verite, re-enactments, and CGI graphics." Here is the first documentary. Deezer has hadded a neat option not so long ago which allows users to blog their playlists. This feature is great for sharing music with friends on-line. Best part: it's 100% legal. Deezer claims to have come to an agreement with SACEM, a French organization representing the French labels. How this applies to international copyright issues is yet to be seen, Deezer has stated to be in negoatiations with the big four, Sony BMG, EMI, Universal and Warner.
