Berlin in 3D

Over 44.000 buildings in Berlin have been modeled in 3D for Google Earth. You need to download a *.kmz file from their site to activate them.
Pretty impressive, though it does load a little slowly sometimes, and the view distance isn't that great.

A fly-through from gearthblog.com

Nice mod, really nice details the buildings got!

sick that you even can get in buildings. and see lots of details there.

Also a interesting marketing strategy of marketing a city.

Indeed it's the way of the future. It won't be long before Google integrates this into Google Earth. Many cities that want to put themselves on the map might start to use this.
