Harlequin Ichthyosis

Came across this while wasting corporate time, didn't think much of it until I saw the picture. Harlequin-type ichthyosis (also harlequin ichthyosis, ichthyosis congenita, or keratosis diffusa fetalis), a skin disease, is the most severe form of congenital ichthyosis, characterized by a thickening of the keratin layer in fetal human skin. In sufferers of the disease, the skin contains massive, diamond-shaped scales, and tends to give off a reddish color. In addition, the eyes, ears, mouth, and other appendages may be abnormally contracted. The scaly keratin greatly limits the child's movement. Because the skin is cracked where normal skin would fold, it is easily pregnable by bacteria and other contaminants, resulting in serious risk of fatal infection.
!!! Please be advised, I personally think these pictures are quite disturbing!!! (you might need to turn google filter off to see them)

I had already seen pics of harlequins so it was no surprise. Bizzare disease. I think they should kill them. They almost never survive[wiki].

Yep, I've know about this too. Google images has a lot of pictures (you might need to turn your filetr off).
Maybe we need a freakshow tag, but that might be a bit disrespectful.

I think everyone seems to forget that these babies that come in to the world are a living life. How ever they come here, or how ever long they stay. They were brought for a reason and even though this is more than I would want to see anyone go threw. They should have a chance to live a have a life, that would be for filling just like every one elese. I sincerly send ,my blessing to the familys and theses little lifes to be blessed.
